Fintokei, a leading European fintech company renowned for it’s prop trading platform, wanted to use sports sponsorship to expand its global presence with a strategic Asian focus. For their inaugural investment in sport, the brand looked to create a regional strategy to amplify brand awareness and connect with local Japanese audiences.

Through a comprehensive analysis of Japan’s sports landscape, we identified the ideal ambassador: Yoshi Nishioka. As Japan’s #1 tennis player and a two-time ATP Tour champion, Nishioka commands a dedicated fanbase throughout Asia, making him a powerful driver of brand engagement across the continent and specifically, Japan.
Yoshi Nishioka became the face of Fintokei’s brand campaigns in Asia, creating a compelling connection between athletic excellence and trading success. A dynamic suite of content, including social videos, pre-roll ads, and still imagery, brought this narrative to life. Fintokei further elevated its brand visibility with sleeve branding on Nishioka’s uniform throughout the 2024 tennis season, including his run at the iconic Wimbledon tournament.
