iFOREX had previously leveraged sports sponsorship to elevate brand visibility and build consumer trust across Europe. Now, they aimed to re-enter the space with a targeted focus on expanding their presence in the Netherlands.
Playmaker conducted an in-depth review of opportunities within European football to identify a partner that aligned with iFOREX’s brand values and commitment to excellence. Together, we explored various options, including team sponsorships and brand ambassadors. Ultimately, PSV Eindhoven emerged as the perfect fit. As the 2023/24 Eredivisie champions, PSV embody the same high standards and ambition that define iFOREX. This partnership empowers iFOREX to connect with Dutch audiences through exclusive use of team and player IP, LED perimeter advertising at all domestic PSV home matches, social media campaigns, player appearances and branded team merchandise.
With a strategic focus on growth in the Dutch market, iFOREX established a point of difference for their brand alongside PSV. Additionally, the partnership allowed the brand to gain significant exposure across Europe with branding on the team's pre-match jackets for every Champions League game that PSV compete in during the 2024/25 saeson.
